Privacy Policy

How this website handles information. Sextillion uses limited browser storage to remember your cookie-consent choices and to support the operation of the website.

Cookie preferences. When you make a choice in the cookie banner, the website stores your consent version, your Essential, Analytics, Personalisation and Marketing preferences, and the time your choice was updated. This information is stored locally in your browser so the website can remember your selection on later visits.

Essential storage. Essential storage is always enabled because it is used for core site operation and for remembering your consent choice. Optional categories are not treated as accepted unless you choose to allow them.

Optional categories. The consent interface provides separate choices for Analytics, Personalisation and Marketing. These settings communicate the permissions you have selected to the website through its consent system. The current website code reviewed for this policy does not itself establish that a particular third-party analytics, advertising or marketing provider is active merely because a category is available in the preference panel.

Third-party services. Some website functionality may rely on externally supplied services or resources. Where an optional service requires consent, it should only be activated in accordance with the preference you selected. This policy does not name a third-party tracking provider unless that provider is actually configured in the website.

Cookie Policy

Consent storage. Sextillion currently uses browser local storage under the key sextillion-cookie-consent to remember your cookie and storage preferences. The saved record includes a consent version, the status of each preference category and the date and time at which the preference was saved.

Essential. Essential storage is always active. It supports core website functionality and allows the site to remember the consent choice you have made.

Analytics. This optional preference is intended for technologies that help understand how visitors use the website. Selecting this option records your permission for the Analytics category; the consent control itself does not install an analytics provider.

Personalisation. This optional preference is intended for technologies that remember non-essential experience preferences. Selecting it records your permission for the Personalisation category.

Marketing. This optional preference is intended for campaign measurement and relevant communications. Selecting it records your permission for the Marketing category; the consent control itself does not install an advertising or marketing tracker.

Your controls. “Accept all” enables all three optional categories. “Reject optional” leaves Analytics, Personalisation and Marketing disabled. “Set preferences” allows you to choose the optional categories individually. Your selection is then saved in your browser.

Changes to technologies. If Sextillion later introduces cookies, pixels, analytics tools, advertising services or other tracking technologies, this Cookie Policy and the consent implementation should be updated to identify and control those technologies as required.
